What Is PLR And How Do You Use It?

PLR or Private Label Rights content is content you can edit, rebrand, and publish as your own ensuring that even if others read it, your content is unique to you!

Some know this concept as “white label” content.

White labeling is a clever business concept where you can rebrand another business’s products or services and sell them as their own.

4 Reasons To Use PLR For Your Business

There are multiple reasons to incorporate PLR into your business and here are 4 big ones!

1. It Will Save You Money

PLR content is ready-made for you at affordable prices and can save you a ton of money.

2. It Will Save You Time

Coming up with creative ideas and writing the content takes a lot of time.

If you are creating a digital product to sell it might take you weeks or even months to create QUALITY content.

But with Private Label Rights content, you can achieve INSANE results in a short amount of time.

For example, I’ve spent hours trying to make a Freebie for the people who come to my site to learn about essential oils.

Then I discovered PLR and found a great optin for my essential oil articles.

3. It Reduces Your Effort

Busy moms or those of you who have a blog as a side hustle this is a biggie!

Done-for-you PLR content takes away the hours you would spend researching, coming up with ideas, and developing content so you can focus on promoting, marketing, and spending time with family!

4. Enables You To Tap Into MULTIPLE Niches

PLR content allows you to break into and dominate well-researched, obscure niches that can bring in massive profits for your business.

In other words, you no longer have to struggle to find what works and what content will attract the right audience.

For instance, I’m branching off from essential oils and health products to using PLR to help me teach frustrated bloggers how to pivot and earn more money with faceless digital marketing.

4 Ways To Use PLR To Boost Your Business

Personal label rights content is an ethical tool that’s easy to implement.

Try using it one of these three ways and watch what happens to your business.

1. Launch Multiple Opt-Ins

Opt-in gifts are like dangling carrots.

They offer something the reader wants and helps you grow your email list.

But having just one isn’t enough.

You might need multiple opt-ins sprinkled throughout your website.

Having multiple opt-ins is especially important if you have several types of customers.

For example, your lifestyle blog has content about travel, fashion, and essential oils.

  • Website visitor #1: A  women going back into the workforce might want a printable about the best outfits for working women over 40.
  • Website visitor #2: A mom who wants to use essential oils to replace toxic products would like essential oil recipes.

You’re helping these women and tailoring your opt-in gifts to meet the unique needs of each one.

2. Use It For Blog Content And Content Upgrades

For example, maybe your blog is about fitness and you want to write about how protein helps build muscle.

Find a PLR on the topic and add it to your website.

Another example, is maybe you write about essential oils as I do so you’d find a PLR on the top of essential oil recipes or spring essential oils to use as a blog post.

3. Funnel Traffic To Your Opt-in Page From Social Media

Another way to use PLR content to grow your mailing list is to break it down into posts on Instagram, Facebook, or Tiktok.

You can take five sentences from your PLR content and use those sentences to create hooks on social media and link to your storefront.

If the PLR seller included images, you could use those too.

  • First, brand them by adding your logo and/or changing the title.
  • Then upload them to social media
  • Link your followers to your blog posts or offer a freebie to encourage sign-ups.

PLR content can help you grow your list quickly and easily which will give you more time to spend on your blog.

4. Sell Digital Products In Your Niche

You can find PLR digital products for just about any niche.

All you have to do is buy the PLR, rebrand it, and sell it on your website.

Is PLR The Same As MMR?

PLR products are not to be confused with Master Resell Rights – these two concepts are vastly different.

Master Resell Rights gives you the ability to buy the rights of the course or guide but you cannot touch the contents and you must sell the product for the price listed.

I invested in a MRR course called Ultimate Branding Course.

It is one of the best ones on the market for those of us who own a website but want to branch out to using social media.

Of course, Chat GTP can help you write content for your site but I’ve found using PLR speeds up the process.

I buy the PLR content then edit it or add content with AI when needed.

There are a few PLR banks that I’ve used over the years.

Here are my top recommendations:

  • PLR Project – This content bank is full of content for digital marketers but has a growing list of PLRs for other niches. You pay a one-time fee for lifetime access.
  • Digital PLR Hub – Only pay for the PLR you want to use.
