Isagenix Bone Broth Collagen

Turkey and Vegetable Soup

Turkey and Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 large carrots chopped
  • 2 stalks celery trimmed and chopped
  • 2 large bell peppers chopped
  • 5 cups water
  • 3 packets Vegetable Flavor Collagen Bone Broth
  • 1 10oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 2 cups cooked turkey or chicken shredded
  • 1/2 cup uncooked whole-wheat pasta, orzo, or pasta substitute optional
  • Minced fresh cilantro garnish

Instructions

    1. In a large saucepan, sauté the onions, carrots, celery, and peppers in olive oil until tender. Add garlic, and cook 2 minutes longer.

    2. Stir in the water, can of diced tomatoes, bay leaf, and basil.

    3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.

    4. Meanwhile, cook orzo or pasta according to package directions and drain.

    5. Stir orzo and turkey into soup. Heat through.

    6. Discard bay leaf.

    7. Sprinkle with cilantro.

    8. Serve, sip, and savor! 

Kale & Sausage Bone Broth Soup

Kale & Sausage Bone Broth Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz thinly sliced sausage
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 2 large carrots chopped
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 2 15 oz cans cannellini beans
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 packets Isagenix Collagen Bone Broth
  • 2-3 cups kale chopped
  • Parsley to garnish (optional)

Instructions

    1. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large soup pot.

    2. Add sausage and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until browned.

    3. Add onions, carrots, and celery; cook for about 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

    4. Mix in kale and cook for about 1-2 minutes or until kale starts to wilt.

    5. Stir in beans, water, and collagen bone broth packets; bring to a boil.

    6. Lower heat to a simmer and cook uncovered for 15 minutes.

    7. Remove from heat, and divide soup among bowls.

    8. Top with parsley (optional).

Bone Broth Chicken Gravy

Bone Broth Chicken Gravy

Ingredients

  • 4 cups warm water
  • 2 packets Roasted Chicken + Herb Flavor Collagen Bone Broth
  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper

Instructions

    1. Heat a large, deep skillet over medium heat.

    2. Add the butter or ghee, rosemary, and cracked black pepper.

    3. Cook until the butter has melted and the herbs are fragrant, or about 2 minutes.

    4. Add the water and Collagen Bone Broth, and whisk well.

    5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, whisking occasionally as you add in the flour.

    6. Cook for 10-15 minutes to reduce and thicken the gravy.

    7. Remove from heat, and allow to cool for 10 minutes before adding to a blender.

    8. Blend with caution (hot liquids can cause the blender lid to pop off) on high speed until creamy in appearance.

    9. Keep warmed until serving.
