I finished Day 2 of the 30 Days of HIIT and I’m feeling pretty good!!!
I woke up with a headache today and didn’t really feel like working out but after I got started I was glad I didn’t slack off today.
I thought this workout was going to be really easy…after all it’s just half jacks and a few pushups. However after only 3 – 20-second sets of the half jacks I could feel my legs were really getting a workout and a little burn in the calves.
So as I pushed through the 10 rounds of this workout and I was looking forward to the short rest between the 20 seconds of half jacks when I got to stop and do 2 pushups before doing another 20 seconds of half jacks.
So altogether I did 20 minutes of half jacks and 120 pushups. Not bad for a quick workout.
After the workout, I had my protein shake (see my favorite here) to help me recover.
