Who doesn’t love a nice, hot bath?
Now that my girls are getting older I’m enjoying a lot more hot baths without interruptions.
The combinations for detox baths are endless but this one is my favorite.
Not only does it help reduce pain and stress but it cleanses toxins, too.
Toxins hold on to fat so it’s imperative we get rid of as many as possible!
3 Simple Ingredients
This bath only has 3 ingredients but it’s super relaxing and beneficial. If you don’t have all 3, no worries. Add what you can and still reap benefits.
2 Cups Epsom Salts – Epsom salt is basically magnesium. Magnesium has over 400 functions in the body to include helping your body activate Vitamin D, promoting better sleep, and detoxing. It’s been reported that many of us are deficient in magnesium so just the Epsom salt alone in this bath is beneficial.
1/2 Cup Baking Soda – Most of us have grown up with an orange box of Baking soda in our house. It helps your body release toxins, reduces muscle pain and swelling, and can have a positive effect on your body the pH.
10 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil – This is one oil I always carry with me. I love to add Lavender to my bath especially before bedtime. It disinfects, releases tension and pain, and helps improve your sleep.
Fill your tub with hot water, add ingredients, and soak. Repeat throughout the week as necessary.
