Simply Earth Essential Oils Review

Bergamot

Bergamot oil is a wonderful multi-purpose essential oil that has something to offer for almost every skin type. It’s been known to help with acne, psoriasis, eczema, varicose veins, cold sores, and rashes. Dry skin and wrinkles will benefit from bergamot oil as well.

Italian folk medicine used it for many years to reduce fever and get rid of worms.  It’s been used to treat skin infections, bronchitis, and indigestion as well as loss of appetite and anxiety issues.

For insomnia and nervous tension, use some bergamot essential oil at night in a bath or in a diffuser.

Mix bergamot with grapefruit or tangerine essential oil in a diffuser when you need an emotional lift.

Geranium

I’ve written extensively about geranium essential oil before in this post.  Like Bergamot oil it has many benefits and uses.

Due to his astringent properties, it is great when mixed with a carrier oil for tightening and toning the skin which will help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

People have reported that it helped them eliminate athletes’ foot, balanced their mood, reduced their anxiety, boosted their immunity, and deterred bugs.

Curb hunger with essential oils

Curb Hunger Blend

This is a Simply Earth’s blend of grapefruit essential oil, spearmint essential oil, and lavender essential oil.

You can diffuse this oil or apply it diluted with any carrier oil to help ease gas and nausea along with curbing cravings.

I will be adding it to the diffuser necklace like this one that my sister got me for my birthday.

Angelica Root

This is an oil I hadn’t heard of before. Angelica root comes from a small ornamental tree and has a wide variety of uses.

I discovered that it helps support emotions and is great for occasional anxiousness.

Angelica can be used to ease muscle tension and headaches as well as to help with digestion, detoxification, and, circulation. Applied to the skin it is rejuvenating.

Diffuse it to help clear air passages and ease colds, cough symptoms, and respiratory congestion.

Update: I got my daughter’s cold. For the last 5 days I’ve been sleeping in the guest room. After I learned that this oil might help with respiratory issues I tested it by adding it to my diffuser and I slept better than I had in a week. Try it in your diffuser if you are sick and see if it helps.

New Essential Oil Recipes To Try

The thing I like about the Simply Earth Recipe Box is the variety of ideas you get from it.

Each month is something different.

Last month I got oils to diffuse for the holidays and this month oils to help curb my appetite and fight wrinkles.

Here’s what you’ll learn how to make:

  • Oatmeal Milk Bath
  • Mud Mask
  • Wrinkles Away Roll-On
  • ByeBye Eye Bagg Roll-On
  • Grounding and Energizing Blend
  • Curb Hunger Blend

I’ve been researching different oils for wrinkles and mixing up different combinations to try so I was thrilled to get these.

Plus, I got a carrier oil that I’ve never used or even heard of.

Camellia Seed Oil for anti wrinkles

Camellia Seed Oil

As the name implies this oil is cold-pressed from the seed of the Camellia plant.

It is full of antioxidants that help protect the skin from free radical damage, refines mature skin, and nourishes the complexion.

I found that it easily absorbed into my skin leaving it a smooth feeling.

My Tip For Making Roll-On Creations

I’ve got a tip for you when you make roll-on bottle blends.

When you receive your bottles the roll-on will not be snapped on. This allows you to easily remove the roll-on to add your oils.

But then what?

How do you get that darn roll-on to snap on so you can use it?

Here’s my tip. Ready for it?

Roll on blends. How to snap on the lid of the roll on.

Use the cap of the roll-on bottle and twist it on.

This action will pop the roll-on in place without much effort.

I suggest you get this cheap roll-on bottle tool to help you remove the roll-on when you’re ready for a refill.

You can thank me later. 🙂

What I Tried First

Right away I mixed up a blend of the Wrinkles Away roll on.

Next, it was the Mud Mask.

I’ve long known about the benefits of bentonite clay and love using it for detoxing.

Bentonite clay can be taken orally or externally on the skin.

It has a high concentration of minerals including silica, calcium, magnesium, sodium, iron, and potassium.

You can use it on your face or other parts of your body. Use it to calm skin itching from eczema and psoriasis

The fact that this box has the clay for you means you don’t have to purchase it to find out if it’s right for you.

If you like it, then you can purchase more.

I love that about getting these boxes.
