Detox is quite the buzzword, and for good reason.
We are exposed to toxins every day.

I’ve read lots of books, articles, and listened to countless hours of podcasts about detoxing and cleansing.
I’m convinced we can do things every day to improve our health and help our body release toxins.

Try doing these 7 things daily to help your body detox from toxins and improve your health.
1. Eat Your Greens
If you haven’t formed the habit of including greens in your diet yet, you can do it now.
This small change can help you intake antioxidants and minerals that relieve the body of toxins and help protect the liver.
You can eat vegetables like spinach, broccoli, arugula in salad or soup, or you can have it raw, cooked, or in juice form.

2. Drink More Water
Water helps flush out toxins from the system and keeps the digestive tract and bowels lubricated.
If your water intake is less, that is, less than 6 glasses, then it’s time to add more water to your drinking routine.
Also, once you are committed to the daily detox mission, start having warm water with lemon in the morning on an empty stomach for even more detoxing.
3. Exercise
We all know the benefits of exercise and it further helps to energize the body and keep you in shape.
Exercise also helps keep your digestion system moving so it can remove toxins.

4. Switch To Organic
If you haven’t done it, it’s time to do it now when you’re detoxifying your body daily.
Making subtle changes to your diet and routine will help you keep your body and mind healthy.
Organic foods do not include chemicals, pesticides, or nasty ingredients like high fructose corn syrup.
5. Get Quality Sleep
Lack of sleep is associated with fatigue, stress, and the inability to focus during the day.
It is time to change your habits and get some nice, quiet, quality sleep that relaxes your mind and body.
A good amount of sleep is linked to improved mood and memory, reduced inflammation, weight loss, and cancer prevention.
6. Add Garlic to Your Food
Add a dose of garlic to the foods you consume.
Slip it into your cooking as it helps activate liver enzymes.
It also aids in circulation and allows the body to get rid of toxins efficiently and effectively, thanks to its antibacterial properties.
