My Review

I was able to get ahold of 1 canister of Collagen Hot Chocolate the last time it was for sale.

(I will be ordering as many canisters as I can when its available again)

It tastes just like hot chocolate however, my favorite way to drink it is in my coffee.

I added a scoop to my coffee and blended it with a frother and it is so good!

If you don’t like hot drinks you can add a scoop to your protein shake or drink it with cold water.

Yes, it is generally okay to add collagen supplements to hot drinks like coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, as long as you follow the recommended usage instructions provided by the collagen supplement manufacturer.

The heat should not significantly affect the effectiveness of the collagen, making it a convenient way to incorporate collagen into your daily routine.

Homemade Collagen Hot Chocolate Recipe

If you can’t get your hands on the Isagenix collagen hot chocolate mix you can make your own collagen hot chocolate with this recipe.

I use cacao powder because it is less processed than the regular cocoa powder you find in the store.

  • 2 cups of milk (you can use dairy, almond, soy, or any milk of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of organic unsweetened cacao powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons of your preferred sweetener (sugar, honey, maple syrup, or a sugar substitute)
  • 1 scoop of collagen powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream or marshmallows for topping (optional)

  1. Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent scalding. Do not let it boil; heat it until it’s hot but not bubbling.
  2. Add Cacao Powder: Once the milk is hot, whisk in the unsweetened cacao powder. Continue to whisk until the cocoa powder is fully dissolved and the mixture becomes smooth and chocolatey.
  3. Sweeten to Taste: Add your sweetener of choice and a pinch of salt to the cacao-milk mixture. Start with 1-2 tablespoons of sweetener, and adjust according to your preferred level of sweetness. Stir until the sweetener is completely dissolved.
  4. Incorporate Collagen: Turn off the heat and add a scoop of collagen powder to the hot chocolate. Stir well to ensure it’s fully integrated into the mixture.
  5. Add Vanilla: Stir in the pure vanilla extract to enhance the flavor of your hot chocolate.
  6. Serve: Pour your collagen-infused hot chocolate into your favorite mug.

To create froth: Using a whisk will help you mix the ingredients and create froth.
