An oil I just started learning about is Copaiba.
Have you tried it yet?
This oil is derived from the resin of the copaiba tree. That tree is found in South America and grows up to 100ft tall!
(if you’re curious it is pronounced co-pie-EE-ba)
The oil is extracted from the tree similar to how you would derive syrup from a maple tree.
It has a very mild sweet aroma and mixes well with other essential oils.
It is heavier than most oils so a little goes a long way.

Where To Buy Your Copaiba Essential Oil
Not all oil brands are created equal so do your due diligence when deciding what brand to use.
The brands I’m currently using are Simply Earth and Isagenix Essence.
Each company has it’s unique qualities and benefits so be sure to check them both out.
*I am an affiliate for both companies so I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase through my links.
How To Use Copaiba Essential Oil
You can use Copaiba as a single oil or blended with other oils.
Here are the main ways you can use it:
- Massage the oil directly into the affected area
- Diffuse in your favorite cool mist diffuser
- Add a few drops into your palm and inhale or put drops in an inhaler.
- In a roller bottle with a carrier oil
- Apply to the soles of your feet
- In your bath
Note: I don’t recommend ingesting Copaiba Oil unless the bottle specifically states it can be used internally.
For example, the Isagenix Content Essential Oil states on the bottle that it can be ingested.
